This project will inform real estate professionals about the needs of the aging population in rural Alberta, the challenges in rural communities to address the aging population due to distance from urban centers and resources, and the needs of a skilled workforce in rural Alberta related to housing and cost.

Understanding the Supportive Living designations as set out by Alberta Health Services can translate into provision of housing which meets the needs of the aging population.
