Why the change

Well, it's been quite a journey of transformation for us. With a deep commitment to listening to our stakeholders, we embarked on a comprehensive internal analysis of every facet of our organization. We wanted to ensure that we were not just meeting but exceeding the expectations of the real estate industry and all Albertans.

We heard your resounding call for the Foundation to step up and play a more visible role in addressing the challenges facing the real estate landscape in our province.

Our new logo and vibrant, bold colors symbolize the dynamic nature of Alberta's real estate ecosystem. With a nod to our heritage, our new “A” is visually inspired by our funding priorities of Real Estate Leadership, the Built Environment, and Land. Like windows, the blocks are an invitation into real estate from your perspective as a valued stakeholder. Like buildings, it represents the structure and building aspects of real estate. Like the land, it represents an aerial view of sections.

Our refreshed brand and website allow us to mobilize our funds more effectively into the real estate industry to serve our legislated mandate in contemporary Alberta. This transformation also makes the many beneficial resources we fund more readily accessible to real estate professionals and the public.
